A Case of Wernickes Encephalopathy Associated with Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

Abstract
Hyperemesis Gravidarum is definied as vomiting sufficiently pernicious to produce weight loss, dehydration, acid-base imbalance, electrolyte imbalance. In severe cases, it also leads to neurologic abnormality including confusion, gate disturbance, nystagmus, due to thiamine deficiency known as Wernickes encephalopathy. We have experienced a case of Wernickes encephalopathy associated with hyperemesis gravidarum and reviewed the Wernickes encephalopathy and new aspects of hyperemesis gravidarum.
