Abstract |
We experienced a case of fetus with congenital chylothorax who treated with thoracocentesis immediately followed by cesarean delivery with high frequency ventilation therapy after treatment failure by serial thoracocentesis and pleurodesis with OK-432. This approach achieved an effective control. So we suggest that cesarean delivery along with postnatal high-frequency ventilation immediately after thoracocentesis can be considered in a fetus with intractable congenital chylothorax. |
