Abstract
Uterus didelphys with an obstructed hemivagina is frequently associated with ipsilateral renal agenesis. The most common clinical presentation is that of the onset pelvic pain and/or dysmenorrhea shortly after menarche, in association with the finding of a vaginal/pelvic mass. When a communication between the two sides exists, symptoms of abnomal vaginal discharge and bleeding are common. Early accurate diagnosis followed by the excision of the obstructing vaginal septum combined with conservative treatment of associated endometriosis offers complete relief of symptoms while preserving reproductive capacity. We present two cases of uterus didelphys with unilateral obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal agenesis carring on proper management with a brief review of concerned literatures.
